Rick Smith

Rick Smith has been a Senior Editor for Reviews OnLine since October 1997. He used his first computer in 1972 and since then has been using, servicing, writing software for computers and training people how to use them since that time. He has been writing about computers since 1983.

He is based in Illinois and regularly attends many industry trade shows. The computers he uses the most are his IBM Thinkpad 755CE laptop, his Compaq Concerto pen computer and an HP 200LX for calendar and phone numbers. He uses a clone Pentium 233MMX when faster speed and interface cards are needed.
